The Milesight VS350 is a LoRaWAN® passage people counter that uses dual PIR sensors to accurately detect people passing through an area by analyzing changes in infrared radiation.
For bi-directional counting, two PIR sensors work together to determine movement direction based on signal waveform analysis, enabling clear and reliable in- and out-counting of people flows.
The VS350 transmits only anonymized data and contains no personally identifiable information, ensuring full compliance with GDPR regulations. It achieves up to 95% accuracy in individual person detection and approximately 80% precision when monitoring people flow in most environments.
With its user-friendly design and screw mounting, deployment is quick and straightforward. The sensor operates on 2× 2700 mAh batteries with a lifespan of up to 4 years and supports fast setup via NFC configuration.
